4G Wireless Reaches the New York Area

For those in the New York area, the mobile Internet just got a little faster.
On Monday, Clearwire, a wireless broadband company, introduced its Clear 4G WiMax wireless Internet service in New York City and other areas of the country, including Connecticut, Florida and New Jersey.
The service, which until now has been available in limited areas, offers a speed boost over 3G service and can be broadcast over large areas, sometimes miles wide, using a limited number of wireless antennas.
And it’s fast. The 4G available through Clearwire has an average mobile download speed of 3 to 6 megabits a second, which is nearly four times faster than the 3G network used by most wireless providers. The company says that in some instances speeds can reach 10 megabits a second.

Location Services Have Not Caught On, Report Says

Technology companies, venture capitalists and retailers have expressed no small amount of enthusiasm for location-based Web services, which allow users to “check into” locations in order to connect with friends or cash in on special offers from businesses.
It is not clear whether the people who would actually be checking in share that excitement.
The number of people using location-based services like Foursquare and Gowalla remains small, and does not appear to be growing, according to a report published Thursday by the Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project.

Netgear Wants to Wirelessly Connect New Televisions

Netgear, the maker of a number of wireless products, has a plan to beat its competitors, which include Belkin and Cisco, and double its revenue in the coming year. It involves the television.
Among a slew of new products the company announced on Friday, Netgear had a new category of wireless router that enables customers to connect televisions to the Web wirelessly using high bandwidth technologies.
Patrick Lo, Netgear’s chairman and chief executive officer, said in an interview that his company had moved beyond just connecting computers to the Internet, but hopes to push the boundaries of the next generation of televisions coming into homes today.

Microsoft Places Big Bets on New Smartphone

In 2007, when the Apple iPhone first went on sale, Microsoft’s operating system dominated the American market and Apple essentially commanded zero percent. Now it’s the other way around, with Apple the top smartphone in the United States and Microsoft’s Windows Mobile operating system stagnating around 3 percent.
Although it would be close to impossible to flip those numbers today, Microsoft hopes to place a dent in Apple’s smartphone leadership with its Windows Phone 7 software. Phones using Phone 7 went on sale in AT&T stores nationwide on Monday. A number of phones, including the HTC Surround and Samsung Focus, both running on the Windows Phone 7 operating system, are now available in stores.

Oalah,, abis liat2 blog temen, jadi ga mau kalah nge design web nih kalo begini caranya,, wahhahaha,, btw, untuk orang2 malas (seperti saya contohnya) yang kurang mengerti nge desain blog nya sndiri,, mending ente2 langsung nyari aja di internet buat nge ganti TEMPLATES (iya, namanya templates yang buat ganti2 style begitu dah) oke,, tak ajarin dulu dah ..

1) cari aja dulu templates nya , dari mbah google, oke,, karena google lengkap banget tuh.. yang males ngetik google,, klik ini Sini
terus search COOL TEMPLATES FOR BLOG , atau TEMPLATES FOR BLOG THIS YEAR
 (ealah , jangan lupa FOR BLOG nya, soalnya, kalo nge download yang wordpress kgak ada XML nya,,)

2) cari templates aja templates nya, terus di download yak (file berupa RAR),,
3) kalo udah, di download, silahkan anda langsung extract.
4) kalo udah di extract biasanya di dalemnya ada notepad ama file ber extensi XML, nah XML aja yang kita perlukan
5) Nah, abis di extract, anda tinggal membuka
Dashboard > Design > Edit Html > Choose File (pilih file XML yang kita download tadi) > Upload

selesai.. se simple itu aja kok,, hehe,, :D.. daripada anda sekalian ngejelumet ngeliatin script2 gaje yang bikin sakit mata, mending copas aja iye ga,, ya, tapi copas tetep copas,, --a,, (ga konsisten)... haha,, ya, kalo ada pertanyaan, mending anda comment aja di sini okay,,
